Camp Chico
A positive first camp experience
Campers age 6 through 8 (finished Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade) share Chico Camp, a pioneer log-cabin village sized for smaller folks. Few camps offer overnight camping for Chico-age children. Our program is fully supervised just for younger campers. The ratio of counselors to campers is 1:4. Mini-Chico sessions, half-weeks, are offered for this age group.
Four cabins make up Chico Hill. Each cabin sleeps 8 campers, with 2 counselors on the bottom floor. The huts have a clothesline for wet bathing suits and towels. The bathhouse is a short walk away from the huts, with a boy's side and a girl's side for co-ed camps. Weekly directors sleep in a hut by the campers to provide close adult supervision.
