Our Staff

Winnataska's leaders, staff, and directors are the heart and soul of Camp Winnataska. Summer staff members are selected for their leadership, experience, maturity, and ability.

All staff members undergo screening and background checks.  Before campers arrive, staff members attend extensive training on safety, leadership skills, understanding campers and their needs, and camp programming.

In addition, the Aquatics staff is certified in water safety, and the Ropes Course staff is certified in Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience (COPE). The Horse Program, as well, is accredited and certified. All leaders and staff are CPR certified. Our administrative staff closely supervises the youth and adult staff, bringing to the camp hundreds of years of experience.

Camp Winnataska's administrative team is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors.  Every member of the leadership team once attended Winnataska as a camper or leader. They are youth development professionals who love working with children and value the summer camp experience.

If you are interested in working on our summer staff, please check out the Staff section for more information.

Summer Program Director

Tricia Brice oversees all programming for Camp Winnataska's summer sessions. Coming from a camp family, her great-grandmother Dorothy Collins attended the first camp in 1918. Nearly every member of her family has attended or volunteered at Winnataska in some form or fashion. As for her own experience, Tricia was a camper, leader, staff member, program specialist, and head counselor and is excited to extend that experience as the new program director. During the year, Tricia is pursuing a career within the fitness and education realms. Her passion runs deep in outdoor recreation so this job is really a dream come true!
