Packing List
All clothing should be inexpensive but serviceable for a week of strenuous outdoor activities. Closed-toe shoes are preferred to sandals for all camp activities. All clothing and personal articles should be marked with a name tag or permanent marking pen. Click here for a Chico luggage tag. Click here for a Mainside luggage tag. Luggage should be limited to one suitcase and one duffel bag or laundry bag. All prescription medications should be brought in pharmacy-labeled containers, and kept with parents at the time of check-in.
PLEASE BRING:
- Closed-toe shoes for horseback riding (Boots are preferred.)
- Long pants for horseback riding
- Closed-toe shoes for canoeing (water shoes)
- Costumes for night activities
- New for 2010: 1 white t-shirt for tye-dying in crafts
DO NOT BRING:
- Footlockers (trunks), or luggage over 13"tall
- Laundry baskets (Items will fall out.)
- Large fans (Personal fans 9" or smaller are fine.)
- Cell phones
- Valuables, such as radios, TV's, CD players, ipods
- Fireworks
- Sheath knives, or any kind of knife
- Over-the-counter medicine - The health hut has over-the-counter medicines such as ibuprofen and benadryl.
- Spending money - Campers do not need spending money during the week.
