Camp Winnataska has been changing lives for almost 100 years!

Camp Winnataska is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian camp.Camp Winnataska holds a special place in the history of Alabama, as a co-ed residential camp founded almost 100 years ago, in 1918.   Friends of Winnataska, Inc. operates as a 501c3 foundation that supports Camp Winnataska's programs and facilities.  Winnataska's Board of Directors and the Camp Winnataska Operating Committee (CWOC) are made of dedicated alumni and parents with hundreds of years of experience at Camp Winnataska. Camp Winnataska continues to thrive under the volunteer direction of those who wish to provide the same life-changing camp experiences for a new generation of campers.  We hope that you will read more about the mission and history of Camp Winnataska below.
