Priority Registration Explained

Priority Registration opens Monday, October 20 at 6:00 AM.

WHO:

Priority Registration is an exclusive option available ONLY to any families who had a camper with a secure spot in 2025. During Priority Registration, those eligible families can also register children from their immediate family who did not have a secure spot in 2025. Families who do not meet the description above will be eligible for General Registration on November 3.

WHEN:

Priority Registration will open Monday, October 20, at 6:00 AM CST. It will close Tuesday, October 21, at 11:59 PM CST. If a family who meets the eligibility requirements above does not register during this window, they will not be able to register until General Registration on November 3.

HOW:

On the evening of October 19, you will receive an email with a link for Priority Registration; the link will NOT be active until October 20 at 6:00 AM CST. Sign in using the same registration account you used last year. Click here to verify your account information before Priority Registration opens. Please make sure the school and rising grade level (for Fall 2026) are correct; you can edit this information during registration, if necessary. This information is important for hut placement.

Each camper may be registered for only one session during Priority Registration. If you would like your camper to attend multiple sessions, you can register for the addition session(s) during General Registration on November 3.

HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD READY! You MUST pay your $300 deposit (per child, per session) ONLINE, at the time of registration. The deposit for SuperChico campers is $200 per child. We are unable to accept deposits at a later time. We will offer an early bird discount to families who pay your balance in full by February 1st. Click here for more information about discounts, fees, and payments.

Technology Tips:

As with most websites, there is a limit to how many individuals can utilize the registration site simultaneously. If the system reaches its maximum number of active users, you will encounter a welcome message; follow the instructions to refresh your browser (repeatedly, if needed) until you can proceed with registration.

Verify your log-in credentials before your registration time. This will allow a smother experience that morning.

If you have issues during registration, you will need to email info@winnataska.org. You will NOT be able to reach anyone by calling the camp phone number.

Please reach out to info@winnataska.org with any questions or concerns.

Regarding Buddies:

Buddy requests are optional, not required. Countless lifelong friendships are made between campers who did not come into the week as buddies! If you do choose to request a buddy, please note:

  • Each camper may request up to 1 buddy. Buddies should be in the same grade or within 1 grade level of one another.

  • Each camp session is unique, depending on registration for that session. Some sessions skew older, meaning they have less of age/grade levels spread in our oldest huts. Others skew younger, meaning that our oldest huts have the larger spread of ages/grade levels. Because huts are not classified by age or grade level, groups are arranged in huts by age, grade level, and buddy pairs.

  • Buddy requests MUST be reciprocal in order to be considered (Camper A and Camper B BOTH have to list the other as a requested buddy).

  • We will do our best to honor all buddy requests, but we do NOT guarantee that we will be able to do so. Honoring your buddy request could potentially impact your child's cabin assignment.
